Rehab Center Programs
Our experienced team of rehabilitation professionals includes speech, occupational and physical therapists who are supported in your care by the nursing and physician staff. We treat a variety of conditions including:
- Orthopedic Rehab
- Neuro Rehab
- Stroke Rehab
- Brain Injury
- Amputee Rehab
Our team is also supported by the staff of the Glen Rose Medical Center hospital, which is located on the same campus and just down the hall from Glen Rose Nursing & Rehab Center. Should an acute care need arise, our comprehensive facilities can help.
Recovery means returning home
The patient and family play an integral part in the recovery process. We motivate our patients to work toward their maximum potential. Positive family involvement adds to cheering the patient on and can facilitate return to the patient’s own home environment.
In a dynamic and supportive rehabilitation environment, our Rehab Center meets individual needs by developing a tailored care-plan, keeping in mind the patient’s medical, physical, cognitive and emotional well-being. Subject to specific patient ability and need, our goal is to deliver at least 3 hours of therapy daily (M-F).
Glen Rose Nursing & Rehab Center offers state-of-the-art equipment in a gym-like environment. Where appropriate, we also help patients in private settings within the facility.
Your Custom Therapy Team
Our Care-Team includes professionals who hold training in a variety of fields. A custom team is built based on the patient’s needs. Our desire is to help each patient achieve an optimum outcome using the skills of:
- Speech Therapists
- Physical Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Attending Physician(s) and Specialists as appropriate
- Nursing care around the clock
- Certified Nurse Aides
- Social Workers
- Registered and Licensed Dietician
- Respiratory Therapists
- Hospital Ancillary Services like Lab and X-Ray are just down the hall at Glen Rose Medical Center Hospital.
- Full-time Wound Care Nurse
Amenities
Each of our private and semi-private rooms has bathroom, telephone service, television and a home-like setting. A full-time dietician directs the food service team in meal planning and preparation. Special requests will gladly be accommodated.
Inquiries
We recommend that you, as family, come visit our facility prior to making a final selection of the rehab center where your loved one can best maximize his or her recovery potential. We would prefer to give tours by appointment to ensure that the right staff will be here for you to talk with, however, walk-ins are always welcome.
Our professionals will be in touch with the referring facility to ensure that we have the pertinent clinical information about the patient so that we can effectively meet individual needs. We will facilitate a local physician to take over primary care of the patient, while retaining contact with other key providers who have been important in the care of your loved one.
