It is unusual to find a hospital lab that offers its services – even to outpatients – seven days a week. But then at Glen Rose Medical Center, we’ve also given new meaning to the term “stat” — 15 minutes at GRMC as compared to an hour in most lab facilities. But being fast and available aren’t enough. Focused on accuracy, our
conscientious lab has been recognized for meeting the standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Hospital and nursing home in-patient needs are covered 24 hours a day. And we’re here seven days a week for outpatients who walk straight from their physician’s office, down a corridor, to our lab. As well, GRMC is the area’s only drug screening facility, providing pre-employment testing for any business.
