 Streamlined in every aspect, our Endoscopy suite is self-contained and reserved for this advanced disgnostic test. Endoscopy is a medical procedure for viewing the interior of the body through hollow tube-like instruments. There are many different kinds of endoscopes (the instruments used for this procedure). Each type is specially designed for examining a different part of the body.
As part of our major renovations completed in 2000, GRMC provided a dedicated area for endoscopy procedures. Within the endoscopy suite, patients appreciate the privacy of a single room from arrival to departure with the added benefits of increased confidentiality and enhanced physician-to-patient access for more efficient and effective procedures.
