Licensure/Certification/Experience Requirements:

Current ARRT registry in Radiology

The housekeeper is responsible for providing housekeeping support for designated areas in the hospital, essential in maintaining sanitation standards. Environmental service workers primarily handle room readiness in patient areas and general cleanliness procedures in staff and public areas. Provides no direct patient care. All job functions are carried out according to Glen Rose Medical Center’s Policies and Procedures and Mission Vision Statement. The housekeeper reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Administrative Assistant

Full Time Monday thru Friday

Primary responsibilities will be to provide ongoing staff support as a member of the Nursing Administration team. The position serves as a liaison between the Medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary departments in nursing/quality concerns. The Admin. Asst. will be performing chart review, Performance Improvement (PI) data collection, data entry, data submission, incident occurrence investigations, assist with maintaining employee and Quality/Risk files, new hire nursing orientation and paperwork, assist with patient complaints and callbacks, and clerical office duties.   Scheduling of meetings, taking minutes as well as coordinating follow-up issues from previous meetings. Responsible for answering telephones and scheduling appointments for the CNO, Assistant CNO and Quality/Risk Director/Administrator. Other office duties will be assigned and prioritized by supervisors. Operationally and administratively reports to both the CNO and the Quality/Risk Director/Administrator.

Nurse Aide: CNA or MA    PRN (Day and Night Shift)

The Nurse Aide, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, delivers care to Clients of all age groups.   The Nurse Aide assists in providing quality patient care by performing basic nursing tasks. All functions are carried out according to the Glen Rose Medical Center Mission Statement and Policies. The Nurse Aide reports to the Charge Nurse who reports directly to the C.N.O of the Hospital. Medical Biller/Collector

Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM


As a Medical Biller/Collector, you will be responsible for the complete and accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payment.

Additional duties for this Medical Biller/Collector role include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing all billing services in accordance with state/federal regulations; compliant with plan of care/treatment; and consistent with professional practice
  • Coordinating accumulation and verification of all necessary documentation required for billing
  • Processing correspondence and telephone calls from all payors regarding all claims
  • Responsible for timely resolution of all claims including appeals
  • Communicating with agency personnel on incorrect payor data that is identified
  • Verifying billing frequency, required forms, and general billing requirements
  • Follow-up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors
  •  Maintaining acceptable % goal of outstanding AR depending on the plan
  • Effectively working and resolving billing edits in a timely manner
  • Managing clearinghouse and payor accept/reject reports timely

Certified Scrub Tech

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons, anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgery. The CST acting as a scrub person handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Must have an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon and maintain a sterile field. Good general health with ability to work in a high stress environment. Must have full mobility with the ability to stand in one place for long periods of time.  The employee must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.


    • High School Diploma is required.
    • Must be a graduate from a surgical technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) or another avenue of entry otherwise acceptable to the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist.
    • Initial certification is bases upon satisfactory performance on the national certifying examination.
    • CST’s maintain their certification by accruing appropriate contact hours of approved continuing education, as required by their governing body.
    • Must be currently certified in basic CPR & re-certified every two years.

Physical Therapist /  Full Time

PT would be responsible for evaluating, planning and directing physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (PTA).  Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in quality improvement activities.

Central Supply Clerk

The Central Supply Clerk is a non-professional health care employee who, under the direction and supervision of the Material Management Director, serves a variety of functions in the Central Supply Department, including receiving shipments, distributing orders, stocking, and assisting the Director with department orders for supplies.

Good general health and stress coping ability. Full mobility and ability to participate in vigorous activity.  Must be physically able to lift, support, and move 50+ lbs of equipment and supplies.

Must be a high school graduate (or GED). Preferably possess current health care experience and is knowledgeable regarding basic patient care concepts and hospital functions.  This position is fast paced and requires a proficient typist with good computer skills and great attention to detail.  Good written and verbal skills a must.  Medical terminology helpful.  CPR Certification is required and classes are provided by hospital.

This position is part time Mon-Fri 8-12.

Patient Service Representative Floater


Glen Rose Medical Center of Glen Rose, Texas is currently seeking a FT Patient Service Representative Floater Monday-Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM.

This individual will perform general business office functions that may include some or all of the following:

-Secondary Insurance Billing and Collections


-checks patients’ in/out and registers;

-insurance verification and eligibility;

-collects co-pays, deductibles and other out of pocket amounts at the time of visit;

-answers phones;

-account follow-up and payment resolution;

-provides documentation to expedite payment;

-covers for other front office functions are requested;

-and other duties as assigned

Ensures all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained from patients and entered into the system in an accurate and timely manner.

Floats when needed to other positions.
